To revere one’s work as the highest form of worship is a true virtue. This belief and determination to ‘Lead by Example’ has given rise to yet another Behavior Ambassador in Danfoss India - Mr. Hari Kumar, Engineer – Supplier Quality, Supplier Quality Global - Support Center

It all started when Danfoss DK team faced a product failure in KVS 42 (stepper motor) - malfunction in assembly. Hari was asked to visit the Tier 2 supplier immediately to follow up on the action plan of the issue. The problem by then had become very critical, with Production being stopped in Nordborg Factory and all deliverables in the pipeline being kept on hold, triggering a lot of customer visits to our factory! 

Hari went the extra mile and actively participated in several brainstorming sessions with the supplier 8D team, which helped them establish the root cause of the issue faster and troubleshoot it. A detailed report of the crisis was provided to top-level management, both DK and IN team by Hari, which brought everyone back to the comfort zone, overcoming the challenging issue and possible payment of huge amounts as credit note to customers. 

Hari’s valuable contributions towards successful crisis management and readiness to work out of comfort zone for a period of over 3 weeks, was much appreciated by the management, especially Lussert Philippe, Hansen Lars, Rakotomalala Ivan, Purushothaman Ravichandran, Strzelczyk Jaroslaw, K R Venkatachalam, Karunakaran Prabhakaran and various other internal stakeholders. 

Hari has consistently showcased his competencies in various other circumstances as well, like extending onsite support to Poland factory and Supplier phase out projects for Sun Strong, Nigbo & Polform. He took lead and completed the complex project with a lightning speed of 2 months, which was under process for more than a year till he took over. The speedy completion of this project was much appreciated by Danfoss Poland management team. He is also known for his remarkable leadership skills in the current role and for proactively taking several new initiatives on his own, completing and delivering the same on time. 

We acknowledge Hari’s efforts in showcasing Danfoss 6 Behaviors in Action at work, especially for being an Ambassador for ‘Go beyond the Ordinary, Earn Customer Loyalty and Think Danfoss’.
